When you log frequently, you may notice that it can be tiresome to log individual ingredients repeatedly, especially when you eat a similar meal often. We have made this process easier for you through custom meal creation. This allows you to create and save meals for easy logging over time.
To create a custom meal, follow these steps:
Step 1: Create a Meal Log
Go into the "Log" tab of the Signos app and select "Log your meals" or the plate icon.
Select the custom meal you will save (breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snack) and the time you ate (or will eat in the future). Once you're done, select the continue button.
Step 2: Create Your Custom Meal
Underneath the three blue buttons labeled "Voice," "Photo," and "Scan," you will see a header with three options: "Recent," "Favorites," and "Custom." Select "Custom" and then select "Create New Item."
From here, you can add a specific item not in the database or enter all the ingredients for a specific meal and save it in your custom section. If you enter just a specific item not in the database, you must include the macronutrient information to create that item.
For recipes, you can select all the ingredients from the database, and it will include all the macronutrient information.
Once you have entered all the ingredients, you can enter the meal's name and serving size information, as well as the prep time, cook time, and other notes. Hit "Create," and the custom meal or item will remain on the "Custom" tab so that you can log it anytime!
