Yes, taking a few days of inbetween sensors is completely normal. Some members find that their body needs a break from CGM placement and some simply want to test their ability to listen to their body’s cues while not having the accountability of the CGM.
The best time to take a break from a CGM is at the 3 month mark. Your transmitter expires in this time, so you do not run the risk of a transmitter expiring before a sensor.
If you choose to take an extended break while a transmitter is active, there are a couple of noted risks to consider that may impact your experience and potentially your wallet.
- Signos will not cover any related costs related to taking a break. If you need a new transmitter because of a break, you have to pay for the replacement.
- We do not limit access to your app today (so you can use your sensors after your subscription has technically expired), but we cannot guarantee that this will be true in the future.
