There are a couple of different reasons why you might see a “Transmitter Not Found” error. It could be that the transmitter is placed incorrectly, it was unable to pair with your bluetooth, or simply just an initial connection error. If you are experiencing this error follow these steps below to troubleshoot:
- If you haven’t already, check our compatibility list to ensure your device is compatible with Signos.
- Confirm the transmitter is properly inserted: Without removing your sensor- place the squared tip of the gray transmitter into the sensor cradle first, ensuring that this tip inserts into the slot for it before then pressing the rest of the transmitter into the sensor cradle firmly and listening for two clicks. Check out How to Place a CGM for more information and best practices.
- Double check your sensor number to ensure its listed correctly in app
- Delete all paired Dexcom devices in your phone's Bluetooth menu (Dexcom xxx).
- Go into the Signos app, Menu > Select send diagnostic data
- If you use an iOS this report will send automatically
- If you use an android email this file to support@signos.com
- Uninstall the Signos app
- In your phone's bluetooth menu, turn Bluetooth off.
- Restart your device.
- In your phone's bluetooth menu, turn Bluetooth on.
- Re-install the app and pair CGM from scratch (allow any permissions when re-opening the app/re-pair transmitter and ensure to allow any permission requests)
