This article is to help guide you through the one-time Dexcom Authorization process when setting up your Stelo biosensor for the first time.
Note: This process is managed by Dexcom, so there is a chance that some of the wording may change without our prior knowledge. Please reach out to the Signos support team if you have any issues working through these steps.
Additionally, Dexcom may ask you to opt into communications from them. This is optional, and you can bypass this step without checking the boxes if you'd like.
Steps for completing the Dexcom authorization
1. When you reach this screen in the Signos app, select: Continue to Dexcom
Note: If you are using a VPN, you may need to temporarily disable it in order to continue.
2. On the next screen, select: Create Account
3. Select the United States, enter your Zip Code, and check the box to confirm. Then click Next
4. You can choose to opt-in to sharing your marketing or health information with Dexcom, but you do not need to opt-in to either to continue. Scroll to the bottom and click Save and Continue.
5. Enter your email address or mobile phone number and check the box to agree to Dexcom’s Terms of Use. Then click Send Code to receive a verification code
Notes: Please use the same email address or phone number that you use for your Signos account
6. Once you’ve received the code, enter it into the field and then click Confirm
7. On the next screen, fill out the requested personal information and then click Next
8. Create and confirm a new password and then click Next
9. Finally you’ll be taken back to the log in screen where you can enter your new Dexcom account information and click Log In
10. You will then get taken back to the Signos app to be guided through applying your new sensor!
