OVERVIEW
What the watch app does
The Signos watch app has two parts. The complication is a small display you add to your watch face that shows your latest glucose reading. Tap it to open the Signos watch screen, which shows your glucose, trend arrow, time in range, and how long ago the reading was taken.
Your watch doesn't connect to your CGM (continuous glucose monitor). It gets every reading from the Signos app on your phone. Your phone stays your main display, and it's still where you log meals, workouts, and everything else.
| ℹ | What you'll need. An Android phone with the Signos app installed and signed in, and a supported Wear OS watch paired to it. See the full list in section 2. |

HOW-TO
Install the watch app
If your watch is paired and connected, the Signos app on your phone may show a one-time prompt to install the watch app. Tap Install, and the Play Store opens on your watch. You can also install it yourself:
On your watch
| 1 |
Open the Play Store On your watch, open the Google Play Store app. |
| 2 |
Install Signos Search for Signos and tap Install. |
| 3 |
Open the app Open Signos on your watch. With your phone nearby, your latest glucose reading shows up. There's nothing to sign in to on your watch. |
| 💡 | Keep your phone close. Your watch gets readings through your phone over Bluetooth. Keep your phone within range and Bluetooth turned on so your watch stays up to date. |
Add Signos to your watch face
These steps can look a little different depending on your watch brand, but they follow the same pattern.
From your watch face
| 1 |
Edit your watch face Touch and hold your watch face, then tap Customize. |
| 2 |
Choose a spot Swipe to the complications screen, then tap the spot where you want your glucose to show. |
| 3 |
Select Signos Scroll to Signos and tap it. Press the side button or swipe back to save. Your glucose reading now shows on your watch face. Tap it anytime to open the Signos watch screen. |
| Your watch is a quick-glance view. Open the Signos app on your phone to see your full glucose history and insights. Don't make medical decisions based on your glucose readings without talking to your healthcare provider. |
Add the home screen widget
The Signos home screen widget lets you check your glucose without opening the app. Tap it to jump straight into Signos and log a meal.
From your home screen
| 1 |
Open edit mode With the Signos app installed and your sensor paired, touch and hold a blank spot on your home screen. |
| 2 |
Open widgets Tap Widgets to open the widget menu. |
| 3 |
Add Signos Search for Signos, or scroll to it in the list. Pick the widget you want, then tap Add. |
| 4 |
Move it Touch and hold the widget to drag it where you want it. |
| ℹ | Your widget may lag behind the app. To save battery, Android limits how often widgets refresh, so your widget may be about 20 minutes behind the Signos app. Keep the Signos app open in the background so the widget keeps updating. |
TROUBLESHOOTING
Troubleshooting & FAQs
| WHAT'S HAPPENING | WHAT TO TRY |
| My watch shows -- or says my reading is out of date | Your watch doesn't have a recent reading from your phone. Make sure your phone is nearby, Bluetooth is on, and the Signos app on your phone shows a current reading. Tap the complication to open the watch screen, which tells you what's missing. |
| My watch says to pair a new sensor or that my subscription has expired | Your watch shows the same status as your phone. Open the Signos app on your phone and follow the steps there. |
| I can't find Signos in my complication list | Make sure the Signos watch app is installed on your watch (see section 3) and the Signos app on your phone is up to date. Then try adding the complication again. |
| I didn't get the install prompt, or I closed it | The prompt only shows once, and only when a supported watch is paired and connected. Check the list in section 2, then install the watch app from the Play Store on your watch. |
| Does my watch work without my phone? | No. Your CGM sends readings to your phone, and your phone sends them to your watch. Keep your phone nearby with the Signos app installed and signed in. |
| My home screen widget is behind the app | That's expected. Android limits how often widgets refresh, so the widget can run about 20 minutes behind. Keep the Signos app open in the background. |
| Can I start a workout from my watch? | Not on Wear OS right now. The watch app shows your glucose only. Log workouts in the Signos app on your phone. |
