Signos GLP-1 Tracking lets you log your medication doses, set personalized reminders, and see exactly how your doses line up with your glucose data — all in one place. Everything you need to manage your GLP-1 routine is in the GLP-1 section of the Log tab.
GLP-1 Dose Tracking allows you to:
- Create and manage a medication program (oral or injectable)
- Log doses from the home screen, Log tab, or anywhere the reminder card appears
- Set custom dose reminders with snooze options
- See your doses plotted directly on your glucose graph
- Edit or delete past dose entries up to 30 days back
Enabling GLP-1 Tracking
GLP-1 Tracking is off by default. It turns on automatically when you indicate GLP-1 use during onboarding — or you can enable it manually at any time.
During onboarding
When asked “Have you ever used or considered using a GLP-1 medication?”, selecting any option other than “I’ve never used or considered one” will activate GLP-1 Tracking. You’ll see a confirmation on screen and a setup prompt on your Home screen.
Enabling manually (after onboarding)
- Tap the profile icon at the top right of your home screen.
- Scroll to Programs & Widgets.
- Toggle GLP-1 Program on.
💡 Note Not using the GLP-1 tracking anymore? Turning this toggle off hides the GLP-1 tab and all related prompts — but it does not delete any of your logged data. Toggle it back on at any time to restore everything. |
Setting Up Your Medication Program
Before logging a dose, you’ll need to create a medication program. You can only have one active program at a time.
- Tap the GLP-1 setup prompt on the Home screen, or navigate to Log > GLP-1 tab.
- Enter your medication name, delivery method (oral or injectable), and dosage.
- Choose your dosing frequency. (Oral medications are taken daily, while injectable medications are taken weekly.)
- Set a reminder time (you can update this anytime).
- Tap Save. Your program is active immediately — no approval needed.
💡 Tip Changing your medication or dosage? If you update your medication name, delivery method, dosage, or dosing frequency, Signos creates a new medication record to keep your history accurate. Changes to reminder time or notification preferences update in place without affecting your history. |
Logging a Dose
You can log a dose from several places in the app.
From the Home screen
When a dose is coming up, a reminder card appears on your Home screen. Tap Log Dose directly from that card.
From the Log tab
Once on the Log tab, you will click into the GLP-1 section, and tap on the "Log your dose" card.
What you’ll enter
- Date & time — defaults to right now. Tap to change if logging a past dose.
- Dosage — pre-filled from your program. Change it here if your dose was different; you’ll be prompted to update your program or keep it as a one-time log.
- Injection site — required for injectable programs only (abdomen, thigh, upper arm).
- Notes (optional) — add any observations.
- Tap Save.
💡 Note Logging outside your usual window: Signos will never block you from logging a dose, regardless of timing. If you log outside your expected window, Signos will ask if you want to update your reminder time going forward. This is optional — tap "Yes, update it" to accept, or "No, keep as is" to keep your current reminder. |
Dose Reminders
Signos sends a push notification at your chosen reminder time each day (oral) or each week (injectable). You’ll need to grant notification permissions during setup for these to work.
Changing your reminder time
Log › GLP-1 › Edit Program › Reminder Time
Changes to reminder time take effect immediately and won’t affect your dose history.
If you denied notification permissions
The app will show in-app visual indicators and a reminder card on your Home screen instead. To re-enable push notifications, go to your phone’s Settings → Notifications → Signos and turn on Allow Notifications.
💡 Note Home screen reminder card timing: The card appears 3 hours before your scheduled dose for oral programs and 24 hours before for injectables, so you’re never caught off guard. |
Viewing Doses on Your Glucose Graph
| Every logged dose appears as a marker directly on your glucose graph — so you can see at a glance how your medication timing relates to your glucose patterns. |
Dose markers appear on:
- Home screen — you can scroll back through your 7-day continuous graph
- Log tab — you will see the dose marker on applicable historical glucose graphs
Reading the markers
Oral and injectable doses use distinct icons and colors to make them easy to tell apart. If a dose was logged at the same time as a meal or activity, the markers group together with a number badge — tap the badge to see all events at that moment.
Viewing dose details
Tap any dose marker to see: medication name, dosage, and the date and time it was recorded.
💡 Tip Use the full-history graph on the Log tab to look back at longer-term patterns — great for spotting how consistent timing affects your glucose stability over weeks. |
Reviewing & Editing Your Dose History
Your full dose log is available in the GLP-1 tab, sorted with the most recent entry at the top. Each entry shows: date and time, medication name, dosage, delivery method, and injection site (for injectable logs).
Editing a past dose
- Go to Log → GLP-1 and find the entry.
- Tap the entry to open it, then tap Edit.
- Update the dosage, date & time, injection site, or notes as needed.
- If you change the dosage, choose whether to update your active program to match or save just this entry.
- Tap Save.
Deleting a past dose
Open the entry, tap Edit, then tap Delete. Confirm when prompted. Deletion only removes that single log — your medication program is not affected.
💡 Note Editing window: You can edit or delete any dose logged within the last 30 days. Older entries are read-only. Medication name and delivery method are always read-only on past logs — they reflect the program that was active when that dose was recorded. |
Troubleshooting
| ISSUE | WHAT TO TRY |
|---|---|
| I don't see a GLP-1 tab in the app | Go to Account & Settings → Programs & Widgets and make sure the GLP-1 toggle is on. If you dismissed the onboarding prompt, this toggle will be off by default. |
| I'm not getting dose reminders | Check that notifications are enabled in your phone’s Settings app (Settings → Notifications → Signos). Also confirm that a reminder time is set in your medication program. If you’re offline, reminders will still fire locally but data syncs when you reconnect. |
| My dose isn't showing on the glucose graph | Make sure the dose was saved (check your dose history in the GLP-1 tab). Graph markers use the “taken at” timestamp — if the dose was logged for a past date, scroll back to that date on the graph. Pull to refresh if needed. |
| I logged a dose while offline and it’s missing | Offline doses are saved locally and sync automatically when you reconnect to the internet. Open the app while connected and wait a moment — your entry should appear. |
| Dosage change didn’t update my program | When editing a past dose, if you tapped “Don’t update”, your program kept its original dosage. Go to GLP-1 → Edit Program to update it manually. |
| I dismissed the onboarding prompt | Dismissing the Home screen banner turns off the GLP-1 feature. Re-enable it anytime via Account & Settings → Programs & Widgets → GLP-1. |
