This article is for Android only. If you have an iPhone please go here: How do I integrate Signos with 3rd party apps/devices? [iPhone]
Android devices have a shared health application called Google Health Connect which Signos integrates with. It is then able to share data with most other apps that can also share with Health Connect.
Setup
When you first log into Signos, you will be prompted to enable sharing with Health Connect. If you didn't allow these permissions at the time or are unsure, you can enable them by following these steps:
- In Signos, go to Account & Settings > Manage Health Connect
- Tap Allow or Continue
- Toggle "Allow all" to ON to enable sharing the various datasets
- Tap Allow at the bottom right
- Tap Allow again on the next screen to enable Signos to share data in the background
If you already enabled sharing, you can follow these steps to check that all datasets are being allowed to share:
- In Signos, go to Account & Settings > Manage Health Connect
- Tap Manage Health Connect
- Tap App Permissions
- Tap Signos
- Toggle "Allow all" to ON
IMPORTANT NOTE: You'll want to be sure that whichever app you are trying to integrate with is also allowing sharing with Health Connect, which can be done from that same "App Permissions" screen.
Most health/fitness apps support this integration including: Fitbit, Oura, Myfitnesspal, Samsung Health, Garmin Connect, and Whoop.

What data can be shared?
Import
Signos can read the following data from 3rd party apps via Health Connect:
- Workout/exercise - including calories burned and heart rate information
- Steps
- Sleep
- Weight & body fat %
- Water
Export
Signos can write the following data to 3rd party apps via Health Connect:
- Glucose
- Exercise
- Sleep
- Weight & body fat %
- Water
Glucose Data Sharing
You can manage glucose data sharing in Signos by going to:
- Account & Settings
- Export Data
From here you can choose to automatically or manually sync your glucose data with Health Connect.
- Automatic sync: Signos automatically syncs the last 24 hours of glucose to Heath Connect. For safety reasons this sync is on a 3 hr delay. This is usually turned ON by default, but you can turn this OFF at any time by toggling it off.
- Manual sync: Sync all of your historical glucose levels by selecting manual sync in the Sync Glucose menu in your Signos settings. Please note, this may take up to a minute, do not close the Signos app during this time.
- Deletion: You can tap "Delete Glucose" to remove your glucose data from Health Connect.
