This article is for iPhone only. If you have an Android phone please go here: How do I integrate Signos with 3rd party apps/devices? [Android]
iOS devices have a shared health application called Apple Health/Healthkit which Signos integrates with.
Setup
When you first log into Signos, you will be prompted to enable sharing with Health. If you didn't allow these permissions at the time or are unsure, you can enable them by following these steps:
- On your iPhone, go to Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices > Signos
- Select "Turn on all"
IMPORTANT NOTE: You'll want to be sure that whichever app you are trying to integrate with is also allowing sharing with Apple Health, which can be done from the same screen.
Most apps support HealthKit, including Garmin Connect, Myfitnesspal, Oura, and Whoop.

What data can be shared?
Import
Signos can read the following data from 3rd party apps via Apple Health:
- Workout/exercise - including calories burned and heart rate information
- Steps
- Sleep
- Weight & body fat %
- Water
Export
Signos can write the following data to 3rd party apps via Apple Health:
- Glucose
- Exercise
- Sleep
- Weight & body fat %
- Water
Glucose Data Sharing
You can manage glucose data sharing in Signos by going to:
- Account & Settings
- Export Data
From here you can choose to automatically or manually sync your glucose data with Apple Health.
- Automatic sync: Signos automatically syncs the last 24 hours of glucose to Apple Health. For safety reasons this sync is on a 3 hr delay. This is usually turned ON by default, but you can turn this OFF at any time by toggling it off.
- Manual sync: Sync all of your historical glucose levels by selecting manual sync in the Sync Glucose menu in your Signos settings. Please note, this may take up to a minute, do not leave the Signos app during this time.
- Deletion: You can tap "Delete Glucose" to remove your glucose data from Apple Health.
